Familiarity with Windows 11 and basic file management, i.e., save and retrieve files.

Basic skills in using a keyboard and mouse.

Ability to save and access documents.

Classroom instruction will use Word 365, but users of earlier Word versions can also benefit
Objectives:
Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to:
- Use Word to create and edit documents.
- Navigate the ribbons, menus, and toolbars.
- Insert, delete, copy, cut, and paste using the clipboard.
- Insert, delete, modify, and format pictures, clip art, and tables.
- Learn to format text within your documents.
- Use the spelling checker, checker, dictionary, and thesaurus.

Learn the essential tools in Microsoft Word to create, edit, and format documents, insert images and tables, and use built-in features like the clipboard and spelling/grammar checks.
