SPECIAL EVENT: PREPARING TO TAKE OVER THE FAMILY FINANCES ... ALONE
Usually one spouse handles the finances. In the event of death or incapacitation, the other spouse or children will need to step into that role. This 5-part event will help to make this transition easier.
All meetings are on Wednesdays from 9 to 11 AM and are held in the Chaparral Center with rooms alternating between Pima and Hopi. Please mark the following dates on your calendars.
The main presentation topics for each of the five segments are:
January 22 Gathering Essential Documents
February 05 Accessing Accounts and Passwords plus Bill Paying
February 19 Preparing Written Instructions
March 05 Understanding an Estate Plan, Wills, Power of Attorney Forms
March 19 Knowing What Happens When You Notify the Bank of a Death
Online registration begins January 8th.
The primary registrant must be a Grand Tech Club Member.
The fee is $10 covering the cost of meeting materials. (One handbook per household).
